Steps to fill online Application Form for UPSC CISF 2017


Step1 : Visit to the official website of UPSC i.e. www.upsconline.nic.in.
Step2 : Search out the link of CISF AC (EXE) LDCE-2017.
Step3 : Click on the link of applying online for CISF AC(EXE) LDCE-2017 part-1.
Step4 : Fill all the personal and educational information carefully in part 1 of registration.
Step5 : After entering all the details submit the part-1.
Step6 : Note the registration ID because at the time of registering for the part 2 you need to enter it and date of birth.
Step7 : Click on the Apply online link on Registration part 2.
Step8 : Enter your registration ID and Date of Birth and click on submit.
Step9 : Upload the recent passport size photo and signature.
Step10 : Download the fee receipt and application format in pdf format and printout it for future references.

UPSC CISF AC (EXE) LDCE Selection Procedure 2017


Selection Procedure consists of 3 stages.

Steg1. Written examination
Steg2. Physical Efficiency Tests (PET) & Medical Standards Tests
Steg3. Interview

1. Written Examination: There are two papers in the UPSC CPF Written Exam.

Paper I: General Ability and Intelligence – 250 Marks
Paper I consists of Objective (Multiple Answers) Type questions and questions will be set in English as well as Hindi. There is negative mark will be cut for each wrong answer.
Paper II: General Studies, Essay and Comprehension – 200 Marks
In this paper candidates will be allowed the option of writing the Essay Component in English or Hindi, but the medium of Precis Writing, Comprehension Components and other communications/ language skills will be in English.

2) Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests: Candidates who are qualified in the written examination will be called for the Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests.
Physical Efficiency Tests (PET):

(a) 100 Meters race Males in 16 seconds Females in 18Seconds
(b) 800 Meters race In 3 minutes 45  seconds In 4 min 45 seconds
(c) Long Jump 3.5 Meters (3 chances) 3.5 Meters (3 chances)
(d) shot-put (7.26kgs) 4.5 meters -
At the time of physical efficiency test (PET) if the female candidate is pregnant then she will be disqualified.

3) Interview/ Personality Test: The qualified candidates in the Medical Standards Tests, will be called for Interview. Candidates who are short-listed for Interview/ Personality Test, including those short-listed for Interview/ Personality Test provisionally will be issued a Detailed Application Form (DAF) in which among other things, they will be required to indicate their preference of services. As female candidates are eligible for appointment to CRPF, CISF, SSB and BSF only, they will be required to indicate their preference for CRPF, CISF, SSB and BSF only. Interview/  Personality Test will carry 150 Marks.

UPSC CISF AC (EXE) Eligibility Criteria 2017

The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or posses an equivalent qualification.

Candidates must meet the prescribed Physical and Medical Standards for admission to Central Police Forces Examination (Assistant Commandants). The details are specified in the Sceme of Examination section.
